It’s #mentalhealthawarenessweek and so I wanted to share this drawing I made some years ago.
It was based on a quote I heard by author Marian Keyes - she said “don’t compare your insides to other people’s outsides”
And I took that to mean that we don’t always know what people are going through. To try and have compassion and empathy for each other and ourselves.

Life update - We are moved into the new place finally! 💙
It’s very peaceful and we are very happy. I didn’t realise the stress feeling I was carrying all the time knowing we had to leave the last place and the pressure to do that. Having our own front door and also now apparently 4 baby foxes - is great :)
Now to manifest a cat 🐈

The largest (and fastest) illustration of mine for @petsathomeuk out in the wild! 🚛
Thanks @fullerka for the 🎥
This was the first ever illustration I created for Pets and was part of the pitch / test process. I had no idea where this one drawing would end up taking my work! It’s been incredible and I’m forever grateful to @nomad_studio_ for getting me on board and @leahairey_ and @thisis_jelly 💚
Looking forward to seeing more work for their vehicles soon 👀

It’s the weekend and just over 2 weeks until we move - so that means another trip to my fave place - the “big bins”, recycling centre and replying to messages on @olio.app
Fantasising about a Nomad existence with few belongings 😂 How a family of 3 can have so much stuff is insane. #illustration #movinghome #dontbuyanythingnew
Some sun and sea and a project not meant to be but I still really like what I made!
Sound on for Spring bird song 🎶

Friday eve drawing from Turner paintings @nationalgallery 🖤🩶🤍
Looking for the luminescence and very much out of my comfort zone 😅
I am naturally drawn to work that features people (especially the Seurat painting) so to sit and draw and practice looking for light and shadow in a complicated composition was a challenge! Glad to do it and thanks @royaldrawingschool for the class.
