The makings of a lobster cake 🙌🏻🦞 The dessert of the season! Pro tip, buy a @traderjoes lemon sheet cake, spread the frosting out to give it a more organic look and to cover the sides, then add your strawberry lobster. My summer Nantucket tips…
- make dinner reservations ahead of time for restaurants you want to try! Otherwise, grill in the backyard or picnic at the beach 🧺 I have a whole list of my favorite restaurants on my website, hannahmatthew.com
- wander the farmers markets, and head to @bartlettsfarm and @moorsendfarm for the freshest produce
- @nantucketjuicebar or @jackandcharliesack for ice cream 🍦
- shop in town (I have all my favorite spots listed on my website)
- visit Brant Point, Sankaty Head, and Great Point (if you have access to a jeep with a beach permit and someone who knows how to drive on the sand!)
- sunset at @thewauwinet and in Madaket
- Sconset bluff walk
- beaches of course! My favorites are Steps, Ladies and Sconset but you can’t go wrong at any. Just know that the harbor side is calm and the south shore has big waves.
- stitch night at @ericawilsonnantucket on Thursdays for my fellow needlepointers 🪡
- Old North Wharf, Hunky Dory, and Cliff Lodge to see the hydrangeas in bloom 🌸
