When it’s quiet, it usually means we’re deep in work 🎶 practicing, creating, and preparing for what’s ahead. And what an exciting 2027–2028 we have in sight. 🤩👯♀️
We recently recorded in the beautiful Radio House in Copenhagen - and are now preparing a CD featuring our original works.
As we approach ten years together in 2027, it feels especially important to both preserve and expand what we’ve built. This summer is going to be busy. Michaela will be traveling to South Korea and Japan ✈️ meeting inspiring artists, networking and reconnecting with musicians and good old friends abroad.

Last year, thanks to our Ensemble in Residence, we were able to put the final touches on our debut album, travel to Berlin to attend Classical:NEXT, perform with the wonderful @musicavitae ✨ collaborate with amazing musicians @mika_takehara_musician@johanbridger 🥁💫
And last but not least, to create and continue performing our interdisciplinary project with performances in hospitals together with @mivoh_musikisyd@ulrikagsch@anamariabermeo.meditation #konstframjandetskane

Steve Reich’s Duet for two violins and strings. Ventus commissioned a new arrangement and had the joy of performing it with @musicavitae last year. It’s a beautiful conversation in canon with the strings ✨ as if we’re talking to each other, sometimes together, sometimes intertwined. So happy to share this music with you!

We played for a group of researchers who are a part of the Existential Resilience Collaboration Initiative (ERiCi). ERiCi is a cross-disciplinary research initiative at Lund University - exploring how contemplation, aesthetics, and compassion can strengthen existential resilience.
