A night I will remember for the rest of my life and it was the honour of a lifetime to be invited 😭
What Sir David has done for the natural world is nothing short of extraordinary and there will never, ever be another broadcaster like him, his legacy will continue and we all owe him so much ❤️
It has been an honour to be on the planet the same time as him, and we can’t thank him enough for everything he’s done 🥹❤️
I came straight back from London and have been out busy filming the animals, as being here on his birthday reaffirmed how important it is to communicate wildlife to the world - it has never been more important 💪🥹
Happy 100th Birthday Sir David, you have changed all of our lives for the better and continue to do so ✨ Thank you, forever ❤️

Filming a fox in the dandelions 😭🦊🐾🥹
I nearly didn’t post this as the footage is so bad - it was nearly dark when I filmed this and I had the ISO cranked way up when the fox appeared!
But - for those of you that have been here for a while you’ll know how much I adore foxes 🦊 and they are the reason I do what I do as a job 🥹🐾
And sometimes it’s not about the footage - it’s about the moment 🐾❤️
I have located a den as well 😍 After putting out mange treatment to try and keep the population alive, this year seems to be a good one as I have a new den site and have seen lots of foxes - for the first time in years! 😍🦊🐾🙌

Wildlife filmmaking and photography with the sand martins 🐦✨🥹
Our smallest swallow species here in the UK and always the earliest to arrive back for the breeding season (sometimes as early as March!) they form these huge colonies and are incredible to watch! 😍
They return to the sane nest site each year - and I’ve been filming this colony for 4/5 years now! So it’s very likely I could even be filming the exact same birds 🥹🫶

Armed with super low light technology and the ability to shoot in 8k 30fps in low light, the phone is a powerhouse when it comes to filming and is super handy to have in your camera bag!
You can also edit 4k 120fps footage from other cameras, making it great for speedy editing whilst on the go! 🙌 Using different footage from other cameras you can adjust the speed, edit and colour grade quickly - very useful!

Spring has officially sprung and after a long hard month on the road I’m finally back in the shire (thats what I call Cornwall 😂) and am SO excited for spring! The best season of them all! 🐾🌿😍
With Easter just around the corner it would be rude not to share the baby bunnies, it is there time 🥰
I can finally get back out on my local patch with the animals and there is SO much activity! I literally can’t wait and am so happy to be home 🌸🥹🐰

The most magical wildlife filmmaking trip of my entire life 😭 Filming Arctic foxes 🦊❄️🐾
Words honestly can’t describe the last 10 days, it’s honestly been a bit life changing 🥹
Arctic foxes have been a dream of mine for so many years, and finally I got to see and film them 🐾❄️😭
But - it was also full on hardcore! A huge Arctic storm rolled in and we were nearly stuck on the peninsula, no running water, didn’t shower for over a week, had a generator to charge up our camera batteries and switched on starlink for an hour each night, which didn’t work properly sometimes! And the boat journey back I was so, so sick! 🤢 The waves were higher than the boat! 🌊
But it was THE most incredible time - no phone signal, no emails, and in one of the most pristine wildlife habitats in Europe with Arctic foxes everywhere - pure magic! 😭❄️
I feel I’ve come back a different person - puts everything into perspective when you are stripped back to basics - and in a storm! Amazing!!
So sorry for disappearing, but this is where I’ve been - and it was magic! ✨

Our UK Chiffchaffs spend the winter months in sub-Saharan Africa and migrate back to us in the UK each spring to breed 🪺🌿
