Amazing work for our beginner's screen printing workshop last week! We used hand-cut paper stencils and acrylic inks to print multi-layer designs onto paper. Here are the brilliant results! 🌟 #printmakingforthepeople

Today on our Meet the Maker, we have the incredible Mari (@mariannehunt_art ). With the support of her mum, Helen, and mentor Jo Telling, Mari transforms her drawings into multi-layer screen prints. We have loved following Mari's printmaking practice and were very pleased when she said yes to being featured on our blog.

Kitchen lithography is an accessible, non-toxic technique that offers a fresh take on traditional methods, using readily available items like cola and kitchen foil. Over this two-day course, Viola will guide you through the fundamentals of the medium, showing you how to apply professional lithographic techniques to produce high-quality art prints in a home setting.

In last week's Fab Friday, we learnt all about Jigsaw Linocut. Using softcut lino, the group carved and cut their designs into individual pieces. Each section of the design was then inked up with the desired colour and pieced back together like a puzzle, ready to print. Here are the results! 🧩 #printmakingforthepeople
