[1] "Avian Emissions" used an eraser to create smoke effects from the bird's mouth/cigarette on this high gloss print and threw that little van in the background. 🚬🐦
[2] "Quality Assurance" loved the idea of a big ol' lizard wearing a tinfoil hat with a man in it for whatever reason--too many late nights on YouTube and listening to Coast2Coast 😂 btw they ARE listening 🦎
[3] "Big Shrimpin'" never had I ever embroidered something and it took me FOR-EV-ER but the 🍄 probably weren't helping 😵💫 but they totally were.
[4] "Nostrildamus" he can SNEEZE into the future 🙃 it was fun to basically do typesetting with a tape transfer but I wish I could have found a better 👃
[5] "Public Pool" wild rearrangement of an image of peas spilling out of a container to fit in the pool--I really like the final product and would rarely leave the original page numbers and subtitles in the final image but it felt like it added something cool to me 🫛🏊♂️
[6] "Pappy Pancake" really fun tape transfer where I collaged the two images first, did the tape transfer, and then cut it out again before I laid it down 👴🏈
[7] "One Eye Open" fun prompt to use a target from the h0mie
@stitchpixie and getting to use this cool 3D eye that moves when you look at it 👁
[8] "Beaver Pretzels" definitely abnormal style for me but this idea made me laugh a lot 🥨🦫
I made more art in a week than I have since
@februllage and I really needed that. Opportunities for joy in my life have been rapidly rising since finding a group of people that genuinely make me feel like I am part of an actual community. Having done stand-up for 13 years, I have no hesitations saying, that on the whole, collage artists make way better friends than comics. Crazy how far some eye contact and a little listening can go!
