A stack of art that is new~
The results of continuing practice in mono printing, collage, color combos and designs. The top one feels so dramatic and the second is a bit quieter. The third is a “I’m not happy with it but here it is” from a frustrating pull.

I’ve been busy in the studio this week with work work and personal work! I pulled some new print designs but they need to be refined more, plus I encountered lots of fussy plate behavior from my gel plate…or was I just impatient? Probably the latter.
I hope you like these past works! All created around this time last year.

A new stack of prints! I have been working at growing my skills in masking and layering with paints and transfers in conjunction with researching symbols and symbolism.
Which one do you like? I like them all for different reasons, lots of things are at play.

Three different color combos with this illustration as I work my way through some online design classes. I’ve been very into these rich color combos and playing with vintage concepts as I learn more about design history. Some a refresher but most new to me!
Which is your favorite? I like them all for different reasons but like the addition of the stairs a lot after I did the blue one!

A pile of experiments that I’m not entirely satisfied with but alas here they are! Chicago colors at the top? One of my favorite combos. I tried a new layering approach and it lead to a lot of “oops, oh crap” moments which ultimately I do appreciate. It leads to a deeper understanding of my process…
