Turning 50! I’ve officially lived half a century 🙈
In my mind, I’m still that 20-year-old international student from Japan who just landed in the States for college.
I used to think I was kind of boring but looking back, moving to the other side of the world just to see what’s out there and somehow deciding to stay? That’s actually not boring at all lol.
Things could’ve been way easier if I went back to Japan, but it turns out I kind of like challenges 😆
So for my 50th birthday, I’m giving myself some credit; for building a life in the unknown, and actually enjoying it. 3/22.
