I think my sweet brother manifested this for me. He has always been one of my biggest supporters and has always encouraged me to follow my entrepreneurial dreams.
Last year he took a week off of work, signed me up for Boulder Startup Week (as an attendee), created a schedule of events for us to attend – all to inspire and encourage me. He even attended the events programmed just for women, so that I could focus and pay attention, while he took notes for me.
And at the end of the week, he said I know you can do it, too, just like all of these entrepreneurs. And he added, "One day you will be invited to speak here, too." He's just the absolute best❤️

Excited to finally share that I’ve been selected as a 2026 Embark Startup Founder with Venture Partners at CU Boulder (https://lnkd.in/gcCD5FcR).
For those who’ve been with me on this competition path since last September—thank you from the bottom of my heart. Your support, prayers, and encouragement meant everything.
The first two photos were taken right before and after I presented in the final competition round in December 2025. When I found out I made it through, the person I wanted to celebrate with most was my dad 🕊️, one of the biggest feminists I know. No one would have cheered louder – for me – and for girls/women in STEM. If anyone was meant to launch a high-tech company, it would’ve been him. I wish so much that he were here so that we could do this together ❤️.
For those who are curious, I’ll be working with CU’s research lab to help translate breakthrough technology in impact-absorbing metamaterials into a new venture focused on next-generation protective systems.
P.S. Celebrating after the finals round by dancing with my Kondition crew was exactly what I needed that day (last pic 💃).
