The Hammer and Spear x Christopher Farr collection is rooted in the rich tapestry of American storytelling and reflects our long-held fascination with Hobo Code—grassroots system of communication among nomads— and the expressive language of Beni Ourain rugs. By blending these historical narratives with modern design, we’ve created rugs that are not just decorative items but bearers of stories, connecting us to a legacy of communal support and artistic expression.
A collection that bridges past and present, Hammer and Spear x Christopher Farr. Inspired by the silent yet powerful languages of Hobo Code and the Beni Ourain tribal women, our rugs offer canvases where each symbol tells a story of community, survival and beauty. These narratives, woven into each piece, are invitations to explore the myriad ways we’ve communicated and cared for one another across history.
