Sylvia Earle @dr.sylviaearle speaks about marine conservation with such clarity and grace. Her hands-on experience & academic foundation, has helped pave the way for so many people, especially women in the marine preservation space. Loved talking to her, even if I was slightly star struck 😅
Sylvia just lit up the room w her coolness.
Let’s not forget about our local hero @wiiiza with dedicated efforts to @haka.sumatra - A foundation focusing on protecting the Leuser National Park in North Sumatra. . Recent efforts also include helping communities affected by the North Sumatra floods where I was fortunate enough to spend time with her during recent aid work.

Im shattered to find out about the passing of my good friend - Paul Macklin @greenroomdreamer Met him randomly at Gland when he was pulled into our gang by the boys Kimo @island_mo & Andrew @andrewnalendra several years ago. We've been good friends ever since.
Turns out he was good friends with my late father & really knew alot about surfing Indonesia from the early days. So many good stories connected to my childhood and Dads old friends. Not many people know the old tales these days.
Paul Macklin. A professor at local Universites, great surfer and all round good guy who just loved Indonesia 🇮🇩
