As a child of the Fire Horse, I’ve learned to balance strength and sensitivity, qualities often misunderstood in women. This year, I’m eager to bring all the positive traits of the fire horse to the forefront, focusing on nurturing my family, friends, health, and career. In the end, it’s our connections that matter most. As we step into a new year and new beginnings, I wish everyone in my life all the goodness this year has ♥️

Tatler Ball 2024 “Glimmer of Malaysia” was a vision come true for the team and me. Thank you to everyone for showing up to support us. Seeing everyone get up, sing along and dance with the legendary Malaysian singers we had gave me goosebumps. I loved how our community has grown and each of you made such an effort in what you wore last night and for that I am so grateful 🙏
My Michael Ong gown was inspired by food and my peranakan roots …air bandung, sarawakian kuih lapis, moon cakes and the beautiful colours of nyonya kuih! Thank you @ong72 for working with me on this!

Last week we had an astounding meal at @molina_kl . I’m still thinking about that stunning sturgeon, the lamb with arepas, and chanterelle rum raisin sabayon (…and maybe also that perfect wine pairing). Service was also 10/10 with the most incredible, doting team who explained everything with such passion and flair. Plus, the artwork adorned on the walls by local artists had us ogling for hours throughout the meal. Merci @chefguillaumedepoortere and @marjoleinvandening for bringing a piece of European fine dining to KL. You certainly know how to do it right!
Three years ago, I didn’t think I could ever open my heart to another dog. Jamaica had crossed the rainbow bridge at 19 years old in 2021 and I was sure no one could ever come close to that bond. Then came Lola—nothing like Jamaica, completely her own personality . And somehow, I love her just as much..
She’s my shadow, my protector, the one who sleeps beside me every night. We adopted her from the SPCA, and she found me in ways I didn’t know I still needed to be found.
If you’re waiting for a sign: there is a dog out there who will connect with you in every way that matters. So many are waiting in shelters and on the streets, hoping for someone to see them. Please don’t overlook them.
