Our next 8-week term kicks off on MAY 4th with these NEW CLASSES:
🟣 Youth Circus w/ Cait & Bianca
Mondays 4-5:30PM
🟠 Mixed Aerials (intermediate) w/ Cait
Tuesdays 1-2:30PM
🔵 Hand Balance & Flexibility w/ Cait
Thursdays 4:30-6PM
🟣 Acrobatics (open level) w/ Kyle
Fridays 7:30-9PM
🟠 Aerial Rope & Silks (int/advanced) w/ Guin

🔵 Aerial Hoop & Sling (beginner) w/ Bianca

⚠️Please note a few other changes this term:
🔶 Aerial Hoop & Sling (Thursday) is now a 1-hour Basics class, 8-9PM
🔷 Acro lvl.2 (Friday) has shifted to 6-7:30PM
🔶 Aerial Silks (Friday) is now int/advanced level, 6-7:30PM
🔷 OPEN GYM times are now THURSDAY 2:30-4:30PM and SUNDAY 3-5PM (no Open Gym on Friday!)

7 days a week @halifaxcircus hosts classes for all ages, all sizes, and all abilities! Where you (yes you) can learn to do the unimaginable!!
Saturday I had the honour of photographing their “fairytales reimagined” showcase and I was absolutely blown away with the level of talent and grace every student and teacher possessed.
Here you see Bianca, one of the instructors, showing off some insanely magical trapeze skills.
Checking out one of their classes definitely needs to be added to your 2026 bucket list.

Summer Camp registration is open at Halifax Circus!
These full day youth camps are perfect for the active and creative camper who wants to learn more about circus. Aerials, acrobatics, juggling, tightwire and more – we will spend the week learning new skills, playing outdoors, and exercising our creativity.
The youth will showcase what they've learned on the last day of camp for their parents, guardians and families!
You can sign up for one week, or all three:
🟣Camp #1: July 20-24th
🟠Camp #2: July 27th -31st
🔵Camp #3: August 17-21st
Each week is $300 (+tx) per student. If price is a barrier, Halifax Circus has a limited number of full and 50% scholarships available for BIPOC students or families.

Such a magical night full of creativity, strength, and storytelling. Still so grateful I got to be part of it 💫
Diabolo Expert Duncan Philpot, will be running an informal workshop this Saturday, May 9th, from 5:00 – 6:30 PM, after Open City.
This is a rare opportunity to see diabolo expertise in action, ask any questions about things you’re working on, and get advice that will help your practice.
This workshop is open to anyone who’s already doing diabolo at any level, but is not ideal for first-time diabolists, as we will not be teaching basics.
This is a great opportunity to meet with others, learn more moves, or make progress on that trick that's just out of reach.

The shows will take place in the beautiful sanctuary of Saint Matthew's United Church at 1479 Barrington Street, Downtown Halifax. You won't want to miss this immersive showcase of skill and talent.
