Nothin’ to it but to do it - and TATER & MULLY DID IT!!
NYC Marathon 2025, you were an absolute dream.
Oh, how I wish I could relive this day over and over again. It was the most immaculate and EPIC day I’ve ever lived. Running the NYC Marathon has been a dream of mine for years - one I honestly never thought would be possible. But here I am, two days post-race, able to say I ran the New York City Marathon… my first World Major and second marathon ever.
Not only did I get to experience the best day of my life, but I got to do it with my best friend. Eight months of training all led to this one day, and it couldn’t have been more special.
I embraced every single step , every cheer, every “Go Tater!”, every skyline view, every runner beside me. I soaked it all in with so much gratitude for where I was in that exact moment - doing something I once thought was unachievable.
Running makes me feel strong, powerful, sexy, it makes me feel ME. I went into this race with no expectations other than to have fun, soak it all in, and give it my all - and I did just that (and more).
I ran the New York City Marathon with dignity, with power, with my chin up, chest proud, a smile on my face, heart on my sleeve, and every ounce of gratitude I had.
Thank you to everyone who made this day possible - your cheers, messages, donations, and love meant everything.
To my sweet friend and coach
@ellieexercise - thank you for getting me to that start line and across that finish. I’ve shed many tears reminiscing on it all - the training, the people, the support, the race, the aftermath.
This experience taught me to be present. To thank your body. To go for it. To have fun. To do it all with dignity. And to never ever give up on your dreams.
New York City, you have my heart. I’ll be back for more. 🖤🗽
