✨ INSTRUCTOR SPOTLIGHT ✨
Meet Phil & Pany 🔥💃🕺
Phil and Pany are passionate social dancers and instructors specializing in Kizomba, with a strong focus on musicality, connection, and social dance technique.
Phil began his dance journey in 2003 with Dal Swing, later expanding into ballroom and Latin styles while training privately with Cindy Daniel. In 2021, he immersed himself in Halifax’s Latin dance scene through Haliente, studying Salsa, Bachata, and the full spectrum of Kizomba styles under Brigitte Aucoin.
Pany began dancing in 2023, quickly falling in love with Salsa and Bachata before diving deep into Kizomba training in 2024.
Together, they’ve trained at Kizomba congresses across Canada and internationally and in 2026, they placed 🥈 2nd at the Mexico Kizomba Congress social dance competition.
