First try at cyanotype and loved all about it .. Victorian , botanicals , blue and printing ,wow 😍 I loved how my dried bouquet became a ghostly shell of fragile fleeting beauty preserved floating like Ophelia.

Thank you so much for showing us how it's done and all the lovely opportunities you offer us in a safe space xoxo
We had a great time during Open Studios on Saturday, showing visitors around our space at 25 Francis Street, and introducing the diverse practices and enquiries being explored through research, experimentation and engagement by Artists in Residence at HARI.
In situ at present you can find the work of 8 artists, and gain insights to their ideas and processes.
We will be open again on Tuesday 5th May, 12-6pm, so pop in and meet the artists if you missed us on Saturday, or come back for a second view and chat to the artists.
A huge thanks to all of the artists engaged, and to all of the people who came along and enriched their research with comments and questions.

A series of photograms made with the guidance of @victoriasmith.uk in the newly constructed dark room by @halfframefullflavour at @hari_artsresearch
I wanted to explore and experiment with some of the objects im thinking about a lot - dried leaves from the garden (sycamore), dead roots, plastic tree guard and bark (birch). I really, really enjoyed the process and, hopefully, will get back in the dark room soon to play some more!
Huge thanks to @victoriasmith.uk for teaching me and being supportive always. To Joe & Mars / @halfframefullflavour for creating the dark room and giving their time. To Sarah / @hari_artsresearch for the incredible amount of work and exciting projects happening there and always being lovely, open and supportive.
We really enjoyed learning about the cyanotype process in our workshop with @halfframefullflavour at @fountain_arts in Scunthorpe earlier this week. We got chance to experiment with the Victorian process using our own photographs, make our work into a mini zine and coat some paper to try at home 🎞️
A big thank you to our facilitators and all participants for getting stuck in, what a brilliant day!
We have 2 more exciting workshops coming up, you can secure your place by visiting the link in our bio.
