@halfcockedshort has been brought back by popular demand! Thanks and love to @newyorkcityhorrorfilmfest for including us in their Ominous Oldies program! It's a virtual event, which means that you can watch Half-Cocked wherever you want, and with captions! Ronnie Rifkin Hein and the NYCHFF team curated this stellar collection of films, and all of the features and shorts are indie gems worth catching. Tickets are available at

After a festival run spanning from 2019 through the pandemic, it's almost time to put Rudy to rest, but @thepathealy , @vee_benavente , and @lundonb will get one more chance to make a crowd laugh out loud! @halfcockedshort will be having what is likely its final Hollywood theatrical screening at @shriekfest very soon. If you live in LA, and have yet to see the film, or have yet to see it with an audience, this is a great opportunity to experience the movie on a studio lot! You will also be one of very few audiences to experience the new ending in a theater. We screen in Shorts Block 4, at 6PM on October 2nd, at Raleigh Studios in Hollywood, CA, alongside some excellent shorts. We've had an awesome festival run, bribing and cheating our way to 12 awards, and if this is our goodbye to the big screen, the heart of Hollywood is a good place to do it. You can buy tickets in advance at /2021-official-select/half-cocked/, or right at the gate after you park. Once they sell out online, there are usually still tickets at the gate. Masks will be required, and if that pisses you off, there's probably a lot about the film you won't enjoy.

Much like our unfortunate hero Rudy Collins, we're on the highway to... more highway. @halfcockedshort is still having live screenings, after a long pause. So if you're in Virginia, and want to go to a festival that's fancier than our movie is, visit the Loudoun Arts Film Festival next Thursday at 8pm. And if you do make it out to our slapstick gorefest (with a new, even more woke trash ending than before!), please wear a mask.

Over a year ago, we were honored to learn that @halfcockedshort had taken its second prize at #HorrorHotel Film Festival. However, due to the pandemic, the festival was postponed, and Horror Hotel viewers never had a chance to see the movie. Thankfully, they are once again doing a live event, starting tomorrow, June 3rd, and running through the weekend. Half-Cocked will be shown Sunday evening. Horror Hotel is a wildly fun and unique fest, and if you are lucky enough to attend, you have the opportunity to meet dozens of accomplished and promising genre filmmakers. While we are not able to make it out this time, we're jealous of everybody attending, and we hope you enjoy the event, and the film. If you haven't seen the 15 minute award-winning existential drama "Half-Cocked", there are very few festival opportunities left. As a bit of trivia, the screenplay for Half-Cocked was a selection of last year's Hollywood Comedy Shorts fest, before the movie had been shot.
