As part of #DiscoveryArtFair Cologne 2026, we once again organized an exciting workshop for our exhibitors. This time, we had the honor and pleasure of welcoming HALBE-Rahmen @halberahmen ! 🙌 🖼️ Maximilian Wannenmacher provided valuable insights into framing, hanging, and presentation before introducing participants to the impressive HALBE Frames portfolio. We were truly impressed by the quality of the frames and glass, the wide range of options, and the efficient and practical mounting system. 💡 Our takeaway: An artwork never stands alone. The right frame can bring a piece to the forefront and enhance its quality. An unsuitable or low-quality frame can make even a strong work appear less impactful than it actually is. New edition of my series Red Heat is now available in Berlin. It explores states of tension, vulnerability and transformation through thermal imaging, as well as themes of control and totalitarian structures imposed by the state. All the panorama drawings I've made so far have been 70 × 23 cm. But lately I've been painting bigger… so when a request came in for this panorama, I decided to scale things up. It was definitely a struggle, but I'm really happy with the result. I already knew framing would be a pain in the @$$, but the @halberahmen frame made it surprisingly easy. It's a custom magnetic frame that opens from the front. I also went with museum glass to reduce reflections and improve UV protection. What do you think — should the next panorama be even bigger?
