Bettmeralp field notes.
Mist on the windows.
Orange on white.
Wet wood under cold chairs.
A gondola fading into the clouds.
Lines in the snow. Lines in the fabric.
Small traces of a day above the valley.

I know this place.
The kind you never really forget.
Known by the people who look a little deeper.
Loved for more than just the riding.
For the light, the traditional food, the smiling faces and the rhythm of a day in the Alps.
One of our favourites in Valais.
If you know, you know.
In the mountains, self-sufficiency is rarely loud.
It lives in preparation, repetition and trust.
Sometimes, trust is built in systems you hope you’ll never need.
GUIDE LINES | JULIAN FÜRSINGER
Before movement comes attention.
The mountains rarely reveal everything at once.
You learn to look longer.
To notice more.
To read what sits beneath the surface.

GUIDE LINES | JULIAN FÜRSINGER
There are lines in the mountains you can see.
And others you learn to read, feel and respect.
The ones that take time to understand.
@fuersingerjulian is currently finishing his training to become a mountain guide in Switzerland.
Over the years, we’ve travelled, explored and shared many days in the mountains together. What once began on a snowboard has become something more for Julian: a path shaped by passion, responsibility and a deeper commitment to the mountains and to the people moving through them.
These images were taken by @roesl during a day on the glacier in the Swiss Alps with Julian.
Not a shoot, just a few moments captured along the way.
This is where Guide Lines begins.
A series about people shaped by the mountains, and the line between instinct, knowledge and responsibility.
MENTAL STRENGTH ON THE WALL |CHRISTIAN INDERKUM | HAE HQ, VISPMARCH 5 — 19:00
Climbing isn’t decided by strength alone. Most of it happens in your head.
Fear on the wall.Trust in the rope.Communication between partners.
On March 5th we host an interactive talk with mental coach Christian Inderkum at the HAE HQ in Visp.
An evening about mental strength in climbing and the dynamics of a rope team.
No motivational speech.
Just honest insights, discussion and shared experiences.
Come by, bring your questions and stay for a beer.
Free entry.

In the Alps, timing is everything.
We think we set it.
We don’t.
In December, the snow cannons ran day and night,
when temperatures allowed it.
For Christmas. For the first tracks.
Now?
Up to a meter of fresh snow forecast
for the Swiss Alps.
Storm warnings. Avalanche reports.
Nature in full force.
The snow cannons fall silent.
The mountains speak.
In the next few days, timing will be crucial.
Patience over powder.
Respect over risk.
With weak layers buried beneath the new snow,
this will be serious.
Stay safe out there.

A dream trip to Japan.
A crash that changed everything.
And a story that became deeper than expected.
We sat down with producer Toby Ryter to talk about YUME — a ski film that drifts between reality and imagination, shaped by friendship, fear, and the unexpected turns of life in the mountains.

Not the hardest moves.
But the truest ones.
A Method.
A Powder Spray.
A Butter.
Three moves that shaped snowboarding.
Not because they impress.
But because they feel like nothing else.
It’s about that sensation words can’t touch.
There are few who master them all.
Even fewer who make them look this good.

The sound of powder exploding under your board. Then the soft thud, when the spray hits your jacket, taps your helmet.
You pass through the shadow of your own turn, a fleeting veil of snow and silence.
Then the sun greets you on the other side.
Eyes locked on the next part of the canvas, the next turn, the next spray.
Levi is in it.
Fully.

There’s a kind of cold we’ve learned to understand growing up in the Alps. It’s not just the temperature. It’s the silence in the morning, the sharp air, the clarity. We made The Hood for that kind of cold.
For early mornings that start slow. For streets that bite like mountain wind. For days when you want to move through the city with warmth, presence and purpose.
The Hood is our answer to winter in the city. Clean lines, honest materials, born from alpine spirit. Crafted by the women in our crew, for those who carry their roots with them even when the mountains are far away.
This is more than a piece of knitwear. It’s a way to take the clarity of the Alps into your everyday urban life.

DROP | COLLECTION BY HAE WOMEN
Designed by our HAE Women, shaped by their strength, creativity, and deep respect for the Alps.
Each piece reflects the spirit of women who live the mountains in their own way, connected to nature, to community, and to the simple joy of being outdoors.
This collection reminds us that every idea starts small, often with a shared moment, a sketch, or a story told after a long day in the Alps. It celebrates collaboration, the courage to create, and the beauty of building something together.
