We are making a coordinated effort to remove Israeli produce from store shelves in Hackney.
Here is how you can help:
1) Sign our pledge to boycott apartheid products.
2) Check the labels of fresh fruit and vegetables to make sure they're not from Israel.
3) Avoid all Coca-Cola products (including Innocent, Costa, Fanta, Sprite), Sabra Hummus, and Sudocream.
4) Based on the sign-ups, we’ll get businesses to join the boycott and stop stocking apartheid products (don't worry - no personal details are shared, only the number of sign-ups).

This evening the newly elected Green Party, alongside PSC and Hackney for Palestine, will be holding a vigil in commemoration of the Nakba.
Today is the 78th anniversary of Nakba day. The Nakba, ‘catastrophe’ in Arabic, saw the displacement of approximately 750,000 Palestinians from their homeland by Israel in 1948. Join us outside the Town Hall for a vigil honouring those that have lost their lives, homes, and land at the hands of the Israeli occupation.

🚨 PILC are representing Hackney Independent Socialist councillor, Fliss Premru, in her challenge against unfounded accusations of antisemitism by Hackney Labour councillors.
We’re raising funds for our legal challenge to support Fliss and to protect anyone speaking out for Palestine - whether they’re an elected official or a local resident.
Across the UK, Palestine solidarity activists and representatives are facing increased scrutiny and sanctions for publicly supporting Palestine.
Fliss now faces disciplinary action for speaking out in support of Hackney Council divesting its pension fund from arms and technology companies complicit in Israel’s genocide in Gaza.

Last week we went to Sainsburys Local on Green Lanes to protest that the management had kicked out a Palestinian shopper from the shop after they complained about the lack of choice on avocados. They were all from Israel.
Instead of apologising, the manager ejected them. Well the community won’t stand for it. We will protest this shop until they stop stocking apartheid products from genocidal Israel. Free Palestine 🇵🇸
Get in Hackney, we're boycotting Israel. As individual consumers, we make can make significant difference when it comes to boycotting Israeli fruits and vegetables. So refuse to buy goods from Israel, and challenge your local shops for stocking these too!

Qesser Zuhrah is on day 46 of the hunger strike and is at risk of imminent death. 7 others are also on hunger strike. Our government continues to pretend this is not happening.
The strikers have not been convicted of any crime.
We must be loud enough that the government can no longer ignore this issue.
