Tuesday was the Hack Engineering Track Evening at @brandshatchofficial with @msvtrackdays and what an event it was! Here's just a few pics, we have plenty more media to come. This was our second event with MSVT and I couldn't be more pleased with how it went. Everyone had a great time in BMWs of all shapes and sizes, with a generally fantastic level of machine and driving out on circuit for the evening. The buzz was quite something; thank you to each and every person that came along whether on track or not. It was just flawless. We were also running charity passenger rides in the HE140i, @m2c_ben 's F87 track car and @alex_f82m4 's Ringtool. A massive thank you to those guys for volunteering their time and everyone that came for a lap, or just to donate - because we raised over £700 for @raysofsunshinecc . An incredible charity very close to my heart. It's been a very tough couple of years at HE HQ with rising costs and various other enormous challenges. But Tuesday at Brands was everything, and a hugely exciting reminder of the Hack Engineering family of customers that exists. We are very pleased to release our Genuine BMW Updated Nav Mount kit - replacing the bulky, ugly mechanically locking original mount with one of BMW's slick new electronically locking versions! This kit is plug and play with the included adapter loom - if you're anything like us, you avoid having your nav device not mounted to the bike due to how big the empty mount is. @mark_stevens03 's E92 M3 (yes, our old one!) in with us this week for a full DCT service using a @meyle_parts kit, and @nrw_design_ valve cover gaskets and grommets. This car also features an NRW in-line fuel filter kit as seen on our YouTube channel, but of course the dominating engine bay feature is that epic @karbonius that Mark added last year. What you see here is a beautifully reconditioned cylinder head (by @davidmoore.engineering ) refitted with Elring gaskets and @arpbolts head studs, with a number of surrounding @febi.bilstein goodies and filled with @motul_uk fluids. The @gs_uk.store x @hackengineering F900GS is fighting fit once more! This has had some fairly extensive reworking (due to a very tough time on the trails) including: - Genuine BMW updated nav tower and surrounding panels - Genuine BMW rear brake pads - Genuine BMW chainguard - Genuine BMW rear indicator We are also working on getting one of BMW's updated electronically locking nav mounts fully operating as a retrofit on the F900GS - giving a far neater, slimmer appearance. Ian's F900GSA was in with us this morning for the iconic @akrapovic link pipe, removing the large underbelly resonator box. These are incredibly popular due to the fact that they leave all of the emissions equipment intact and unaltered, but give a fantastic noise that these 270-degree BMW twins should have had from factory.
