Little behind the scene from the process of the music and sound design for «Bare» from @lucasvalente.dance
All started in November 2024, when he told me the first time about this «no music music».
Then in september he skillfully showed me a beat he had in mind just couple days before our 6h live performance.
The last couple months were incredible. Live-recording all the dancers, mapping all my music to each and every single step of the choreo, mixing the music to fit what is shown on stage. It was ridiculous. But worth it.
A lot of people didn’t realize that there was music in «Bare» and thought, all the sounds came from the dancers. And that is the biggest compliment for me, because exactly that was my job in this production.

And I had the chance to compose and produce the music for it.
And let me tell you, it has been a rollercoaster. A good one. Composing music that is more of a sounddesign for a movie has been a challenge. But the whole thing turned out pretty alright.
