This class invites artists of all skill levels to explore the intersection of self-expression, identity, and body morphing through drawing.
About this Collection:
Herman’s graduate collection originated from a series of portraits he created of his classmates, which became the focal point of his prints. This unique exploration revolves around the concept of body morphing as a means of self-expression and its impact on identity and self-worth. Participants will engage with thought-provoking questions such as, “How would your digital avatar look if you could decide?” Herman’s work is inspired by the conversations he had with those around him, challenging the boundaries of physical limitations and encouraging individuals to sculpt themselves into their ideal forms. This class will capture the diverse characters that emerged from his portrait series and accompanying documentary interviews.
