🎏 We celebrated Kodomo no Hi (Children’s Day) on the Children’s Floor at Greenwich Library on May 5! This meaningful Japanese holiday honors children’s personalities, celebrates their happiness, and wishes them health and strength. 🇯🇵 Inspired by the day, festive touches were added to the Library’s Children’s space, from colorful carp streamers (koinobori) to a samurai doll display (gogatsu ningyō), symbolizing protection against sickness and evil, and encouraging resilience and success in life. 💛 Thank you to our staff for sharing this celebration of childhood with everyone at the Library! #greenwichlibrary #greenwichct #kodomonohi

🎭✨ What a night to remember! We loved hosting another unforgettable evening with Aimée Steele’s How I Got to Broadway! From powerful solos and duets to heartfelt stories, this cabaret-style show lit up the room with incredible talent. 💫Thank you to Aimée Steele for producing and directing, Robert Frost for stunning piano accompaniment, and stars Isa Antonetti, Jeanette Bayardelle, and Marc Kudisch for sharing their artistry with us. And a huge thank you to the Friends of Greenwich Library for putting on such a wonderful event. 🎵 We chose the song “Honestly Sincere” from Bye Bye Birdie for this video’s audio as Marc opened the show with it as well as telling us the story of when he auditioned to play Conrad. #greenwichct #greenwichlibrary #broadwaytheatre @aimeesteelevoice @aimeesteelevocalstudios @rfrostmusic @isa_antonetti @jbayardelle @marckudisch
