- HUMAN CAPITAL - a mini photo series about re-humanizing our musician friends and family. I cannot thank every single artist enough for participating and being the face of my very first photo project. For a few years now, I’ve really wanted to start an appreciation project for my musician friends after hearing about all life problems they, and many others have to go through. But what started as a project centered around my contempt for the music industry, quickly turned into a more inspiring and relatable project for the creatives who are often overlooked. So thank you to everyone who trusted me in their homes, rehearsals, recording studios, and personal spaces to take photos during the intimate and beautifully mundane. You guys let me capture moments that let others see that we’re all just humans no matter the position we find ourselves in. Thank you (x3). This is a subpar recreation of the physical collection on display at San Diego City College. The collection will be up until the end of February so please check out it, as well as my colleagues projects while they are up. I cannot thank @gaypanic.atthedisco and @tyfoxphoto enough for having me help take photos for one of the most talented lineups I’ve seen in San Diego. I didn’t realize how many friends I’ve made since moving here until I saw so many all in one place having fun with each other. Everyone on the bill has just released or will be releasing new music very soon so I highly recommend giving every single band a listen when you’re feeling adventurous.
