Why is ADR so much fun? Is it revisiting the character you poured your heart and soul into? Meeting the people you enjoyed working with for one more time? Or is it just the cool recording booth and session? š¬šļø probably all of the above š
Our deepest thanks to the @tokyoscreenplay jury for recognizing all the artists on our team (in front and behind the camera) for their passionate work on @pas_vraiment_ordinaire !

Unit stills from A BOY WITH A BIRDā for @ciara_borgards starring @guyheilweil .
I canāt reiterate how cool it is meeting Ciara as PA once upon a time then somehow finding myself photographing her first big deal.
Not many people know how to direct a movie full of kids, run a tight ship, and still manage to have their humanity be present through it all.
āRemember, youāre only here because I trust youā is the greatest line any creative can get walking into setābut for unit photography itās truly special, allowing us to be a shadow with no limits.
That is what creates what you see, through how I see.
āA BOY WITH A BIRDā for @ciara_borgards and @nia.raee ā a @usccinema MFA thesis.
I met Ciara what feels like now a little over a year ago as a PA on a shoot.
Itās really cool to now see her direct and be brought back in such a capacity to have her say ājust do your thing, I trust you.ā
That is a unit photographerās best compliment.
Thanks to @nia.raee for having me, reāuniting with @mrorigin ās incredible lighting and meeting @olifernal ās incredible set design.
What a way to kick off another semester of āfilm school on my own termsā continuing my path of learning with USCās sets.
