I had such a blast working on this one. I love this song. Building tracks that truly blend with what’s already there is one of my favorite parts of producing.
For this project, we wanted to keep things as live as possible, using real stems and the least amount of overdubs. The goal was to create something fresh and unique without losing the heart of what our AMAZING TEAM played at the service.

This project came to life through countless moments of prayer, asking God for His heart in every chord, lyric, and melody. It’s such an honor to have been part of this, but my greatest joy is imagining these songs bringing Jesus into homes, workplaces, and schools.

Back in winter 2022, @guinaville had a random day of inspiration and played me a track idea and mumbled in his Portuguese English (haha) “bro what if we had a fast song that’s goesss Our God is Good, da da.” If I’m being honest it was a season where I really wasn’t in a mood of writing about God being good because everything in life felt opposite. But fast forward to May 2023 I called my friends @integritymusic@tayloragan scrambling to replace a write we needed for a @_victoryworship writing trip to Nashville and God blessed us with @travisryan & @aaronwmusic who helped bring this song to life.
Our prayer is that you all know that no matter the season, circumstance, or phase of life the GOODNESS of God never changes. He is ALWAYS GOOD in the highest of highs and LOWEST OF LOWS. HE WILL NEVER LET YOU DOWN. HE IS SO GOOD TO BRING YOU OUT OF DARKNESS INTO HIS LIGHT AND TO LIVE LIFE ABUNDANTLY.
