 Fellow ‘Access’ alumni Boss Priester and DJ Life tore it up with their respective solo EPs, and not to be outdone, Guile is taking on all comers. Expect some of the rudest incursions on the label to date rubbing shoulders with unreservedly utopian gear.
 Some shades of Rolando, AKA The Aztec Mystic, as the anthemic potential shines through on ‘Funky Rain’. Elsewhere, he’s fronting up with Euro-centric party-starters, third portal acid prog and 808 breakbeat menace. Dancefloor wreckers front to back.
 Having only emerged in 2024, the hit-rate over such a short period is nothing short of prolific. Big flex.

Lapente - Perfect Resonance EP [DTR005] Originals by @faculapente + an astonishing remix from @guile__ Lapente chose to deliver a pretty eclectic release. Each of his 3 original tracks, displays a different kind of groove and vibe. He managed to showcase a really diverse approach to dance music. We are glad to finally have him on the label! The remix by Guile is an ideal twist to Perfect Resonance, respecting its original vibe, but giving it more depth and developing into a really solid remix. exclusive | Guile - Bleep Me a Beat | X-Kalay It opens like a signal rather than an introduction - a precise alignment of rhythm and tone that immediately defines its space. “Bleep Me a Beat,” the A1 and title track from Guile’s EP with the same name on X-Kalay, unfolds with a clear sense of direction, balancing control with a subtle sense of movement. A firm, driving groove forms the foundation, carried by crisp drums and a steady, propulsive bassline. The defining element lies in its acid-tinged bleep motif - sharp yet fluid, shifting in tone and placement as the track progresses. Around it, a techy, slightly progressive framework takes shape, with layers gradually revealing themselves. Brief vocal snippets flicker through the arrangement, while a moment of police sirens cuts across the mid-section, adding tension before dissolving back into the flow. Character-giving is the contrast between edge and warmth. The synth work carries a faint, almost sunlit quality, softening the sharper acid textures without diminishing their presence. The result is a piece that moves steadily forward, shaped by detail and restraint, and built to hold the floor with quiet persistence.
