Yesterday saw the annual Guards Polo Club Polo Pony Classes at the @royalwindsorhorseshow .
The Overall Champion and the winner of the Maharaja of Jaipur Challenge Cup was presented to Missy shown by Elizabeth Clarkin and owned by Nina Clarkin. The Reserve Champion and winner of the Windsor Polo Cup of Australia was Special Event shown by Jose Tomas Labbe Hole owned by James Reeve, who also won the Thoroughbred Polo Pony Class and the Sir Rodney Moore Cup. The Best Turned Out prize was presented to Adaay With Friends owned by Alan Kent.

The countdown to the La Martina Varsity Day on Saturday 30th May has officially begun.
Yesterday, we welcomed @samdracott_farrier and @sillyprune to the @lamartinaguards store to be kitted out in their official team shirts ahead of the @powerofpolo Charity Match. The morning continued at the @guardspoloacademy , where they had the chance to brush up on their skills before taking to Smiths Lawn in just a few weeks’ time.

The Spring Tournament concluded yesterday, with TEX8N Polo claiming the 2026 title after a commanding 7–2 victory over Mad Dogs–St Jean.
The MVP was awarded to Ramon Pepa, who later celebrated another success by securing victory in the Copenhagen Cup alongside his Eton teammates.
The @imagesofpolo Best Playing Pony award was presented to Sexy Cat, played by William Emerson.
In the Sub Final, Blenheim defeated Harum Scarum 6–4 to lift the trophy.

Yesterday we welcomed some of our younger players to Smiths Lawn for the popular Copenhagen Cup. The Copenhagen Cup founded by Amr and Mo Sheikh, provides the perfect platform for schools polo to play competitive matches on our world-class grounds.
Congratulations to @eton.college who won 5.5-3 against @radleycollegeoxon to claim the 2026 title. The MVP was awarded to Eton’s Harry Wood. The Copenhagen Shield was won by @cheltcollege 8-3.5 against @stowesports A and the Sub Final was won by @millfield_polo 5-2.5 against Harrow.
The prizes were presented to the players on the La Martina Lawn by our Club Chairman Lt Col Sean O’Dwyer. Well done to all of the players that took part in the tournament yesterday here at the Club 👏

Congratulations to @dontancredipolo the winners of the 2026 @lamartinaguards Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother’s Centenary Trophy. The team won 9-6 against Amanara Polo Team to claim the title and lift the trophy on The Queen’s Ground today. The MVP was awarded to Hazel Jackon and the La Martina BPP was Pan Casero Portena, played by Teodoro Lacau. The BPP prize was kindly presented by Mariana Plaza, Argentine Ambassador to the UK.
The Sub Final was won by La Hechicera 6-5 against Tempest on The Duke’s Ground. The prizes were presented to the teams today by Nodjame Fouad CEO of Pernod Ricard and Fahad Abunayyan, Vice Chairman of the Saudi Equestrian & Polo Federation.
