With @craigjonesbjj , @sethbelisle , and @cjiofficial , we are building a world-class expansion for the @guardianperujj social project.
The new academy will create the facilities to go from helping the existing 62 sponsored youth students to up to 300 with free jiu jitsu, a weight room, mentorship, and a team they can count on.
But it’s not just a project to support from afar. It’s a place you can visit, train, surf and be part of the impact.
For CJI2 every donation to Guardian is matched up to $250,000 by Fair Fight Foundation with excess funds supporting our next acadmey buildout.
Donors will be entered to win a stay at the Guardian Peru retreat, and exclusive gear (link in story).

This #givingtuesday give the gift of jiu jitsu to an underserved child in need. Every child deserves the opportunity to train and be part of a team. #jiujitsuforall #nonprofit
As a teenager, @natediaz209 was provided free training under Cesar Gracie. Nate’s story reflects both the positive life path training provides and the limitless potential of a child who is invested in.

Guardian India starts in the Himalayas 🇮🇳🥋
@dhruv.chakkamadam Spent the day in Manali teaching fundamentals, guard passing, positional control & running some fun drills with an amazing group of kids. Crazy to see how fast they picked things up , a lot of laughs, a little chaos, and a whole lot of Jiu Jitsu.
This is exactly what the Guardian Program is about. Bringing the sport to new places, creating opportunities, and building a community through the mats for these kids.
Just the beginning 🤝

Behind the scenes, there are difficult situations we have to navigate in our programs.
At @guardianethiopia , we sponsor 27 homeless youth to train jiu jitsu with us. Some of these kids, as young as 10 to 13, are already struggling with drugs and alcohol.
For children living on the streets in Addis Ababa, this is often part of survival. It can be a way to get through cold nights, numb pain, or cope with things no child should have to face.
Beyond jiu jitsu, our goal is intervention.
We are working with local professionals to help these kids break destructive patterns, build healthier habits, and understand that what may feel normal on the streets does not have to define their future.
Thanks @robertojimeneznaturaljj@frandiazpa and @gachiux for visiting @guardianperujj and sharing the mats with our kids.
Our last collaboration with @bjjcamp.xp was a special one. Training, surfing, swimming with turtles, whale watching, enduro bikes, and some of the best food Peru has to offer, all while helping support our youth.
This academy was built by @thefairfightfoundation , with mats donated by @fujimats and gear from @sanabulsports , helping an entire town of youth train at no cost.
Excited to run it back Sept 29th to Oct 4th. For details, reach out to @bjjcamp.xp
