JOIN OUR CAMPAIGN TO PRESSURE THE UNIVERSITY OF GLASGOW TO DIVEST FROM BAE SYSTEMS
Over 2 years of genocide
Over 680,000 Palestinians killed
As students at a complicit institution we demand immediate divestment. We have started this campaign to highlight our university’s investment of £194,542 in BAE systems that manufactures the same weapons and technology tested on Palestinians and has killed them.
Glasgow University must end their complicity in genocide.
WE NEED YOU TO RISE UP AND FIGHT WITH US
This is our collective duty to fight for Palestine.
Please help us flood management inboxes before their court meeting on the 26th. Scan the QR code or follow the link in bio.
Staff & Students please also sign our petition, remember WE ARE THE MAJORITY.
@uofglasgow DIVEST NOW!
WE WILL NOT STOP WE WILL NOT REST ✊🇵🇸🇵🇸
Read our updated main demands!
GUJPS remains committed to dismantling the complicity of Glasgow University in the Palestinian genocide. As we fight towards these demands, we remain grounded in the fundamental principles of Palestinian liberation, centring the resistance in Palestine and rejecting normalisation with the enemy in all of its forms.
Join our fight for divestment now!
What are the Thawabet?
Al-Thawabet al-Wataniyya, or the ‘national constants’, are the fundamental principles of Palestinian liberation. The Thawabet represent the absolute demands of the Palestinian people, on which there can be NO compromise.
No act of solidarity is authentic if it ignores the experiences, knowledge and leadership of the people at the heart of struggle. As SFLP, we follow the lead of the Palestinian people. Our work is rooted in their experiences, their actions, and their principles.
The Palestinian people have been engaged in a struggle for their liberation for over a century. Only they can determine what their liberation means, and how it will be achieved. It is our duty to uphold the Thawabet and ground our actions in them: only this way can we fully and truly be comrades of Palestinian liberation.
LONG LIVE THE INTIFADA!

Divestment is inevitable — it’s only a matter of time, it’s only a matter of principle.
We will not stop and we will not rest until Balfour university meets our demands.
A statement by the autonomous students who took action against Glasgow University on Friday morning.
We at JPS support this action, there can be no business as usual while the university invests in arms. It is our duty as anti-zionists and anti-imperialists to continue resisting against the military-industrial-academic complex.
Join us for a night of tasters for Bachata and Ceilidh dancing raising money for mutual aid and Gaza40+! There will also be a workshop about Palestinian Dabke in context. The event will be held on Monday 30th March in the GUU Dining Room, 7 - midnight. Entry £5 or a donation of your choice.
Thank you so much to @slightlydrifting for such an informative event and thank you to everyone who came along . Shame on the university for interrupting this event and continuing their complicity in the ongoing genocide. We will be hosting more talks like this in the future. We will not stop we will not rest. 🇵🇸🇵🇸🇵🇸
Inshallah next Monday March 16th during Ramadan we will have our next Death to the Akademy campus tour stop at Glasgow University with a talk & Iftar dinner hosted by @gu_jps - The talk will be streamed virtually for those from across the world who cannot join in person. Shukran to the generous student hosts. Register for the free event using the link in my bio or via the qr code on the poster
🔻The talk explores decolonial and anti-colonial manifestations of Islam, Gaza’s warrior mujahideen as the tip of the spear, anti-imperialist geopolitical analysis of rapidly shifting events across the so-called “Middle East” and West Asia as they map onto religious end times prophecies, the spiritual & racial-religious war our peoples have been fighting since 1492, & strategies for student organizers who seek to confront the liberal Akademy & topple Euro-Amerikan empire where they are
🔻Want to organize a talk on your campus? DM me for details...

Join us on Tuesday 10th March at 6pm in
QMU committee room 1 to get more involved in student organising!
It has been over 2 years of genocide in Palestine and with the escalations of imperialism all over the world we must continue to use our voices. As students at a university investing and profiting from genocide it is our duty to actively resist our own complicity.
We have been campaigning for years for divestment and yet management continues to ignore us and attempts to suppress us. However we will not be silenced and we will not give up WE ARE THE MAJORITY.
It is never too late for you to join the student movement.
No knowledge is assumed and any capacity is appreciated.
WE WILL NOT STOP WE WILL NOT REST 🇵🇸🇵🇸🇵🇸
FILTON 24 JOINT STUDENT STATEMENT‼️
The Filton 24 are some of the bravest people in our movement. They have shown immense courage, patience, resilience, and commitment in the face of abuse, incarceration and fierce repression by the state. We are immensely proud and deeply inspired by each and every one of them, and we will continue to support them until all of the charges are dropped, and every single one of them is released.
But we must not lose sight of our goals. We will not stop until all our prisoners our free, including the over ten thousand Palestinians held hostage in ‘administrative detention’ by Israel. And as students across the country, we must apply the same steadfastness to our struggles on campus, and not back down as we see the same tactics of intimidation and repression used against us. We must see these battles as the same, as connected to our own, and part of the struggle for Palestinian liberation.
We will continue until Elbit is shut down, and until there is an end to Israeli apartheid, genocide ✊🇵🇸🔻
