Artist of Liminæ 2025 | Cheryl | @qchen377 As a performance maker with four years of stage design training, I am deeply passionate about the visual aspects of performance. In my creative practice, I am now exploring my role as a performance artist, reexamining the relationship between body and space while seeking new inspiration through bodily perception. #goldsmiths #performancemaking #performanceart #artist #goldsmithsuniversity #art #festivial #graduation #finalplay

Artist of Liminæ 2025 | Yu-Fang Fu (Evelyn) | @__nyl.eve__ Hello, I’m Yu-Fang Fu (Evelyn), an artist from Taiwan. I graduated from the Department of Drama at the National Taiwan University of Arts, with a background in acting, performing, and directing. My artistic interests focus on site-specific, intimate, and interactive forms of performance and installation. I’m particularly inspired by the work of Bobby Baker. My practice is rooted in everyday life. I strive to create works that are accessible and relatable, while still inviting contemplation and offering layered insights. #goldsmiths #goldsmithsuniversity #performance #performanceart #art #artist #graduation #festival #finalplay

Sismographie du Silence This is an installation featuring a 40-minute performance rooted in the philosophical structure of dépassement du sujet—the collapse and transcendence of the subject, inspired by Georges Bataille. Through material resistance, bodily exhaustion, and the collapse of language, it gradually dismantles the boundaries of the self. The spatial structure resists theatrical representation; it is not a locus of character or narrative, but rather a permeable field where the disintegration of the subject intersects with the spectators’ gaze. In this fluid zone, boundaries between interior and exterior, action and observation, presence and disappearance become indistinct, allowing the performance to function as an existential threshold. Where All Things Pass Through Sheer fabric floats over grass, breathing with wind and touch. Visitors step inside this ”empty body,“ feeling how the body’s edges shift and blur as we move through space. This space is where things inside meets what‘s outside, where our touch and nature’s force reshape our changing edges. We‘re four creators exploring the presence of our body. We set aside rationality and logic, starting instead with what we feel. For us, the body exists as both an outer sensing surface and an inner vessel of experiences, creating a constant dialogue that shapes our presence and questions our boundaries. In our piece, “empty” is not absence, but an open space where everything flows through freely. This creates a place where boundaries become permeable and we perceive beyond physical limits. artists: @hozicaaa @zoe_mucosa @han7wang @qchen377

This is where it opened. “There is something bad here, growing. Day and night I watch it. Growing. My mother is where it begins.” - Elektra, Sophokles (tr. Anne Carson) A red cube at the centre. Inside, a child. Outside, a woman trying to clean the stain that will not come out. A wound passed down through generations—unnamed, unchosen, inherited. In a charged, symbolic space, two performers enact a ritual of return and refusal. One enters the red cube, where memory lives. Another peels open the space of the mother: a cube that breathes, ruptures, contains. Together they attempt a cleansing—not to erase, but to expose. Blending visual performance, poetic text, and feminist ritual, This is where it opened. explores the legacy of maternal pain, the violence beneath love, and the impossible work of healing what was never yours to carry. artists: @janset_ @alicefan2000 @h_ui_2001 #goldsmiths #goldsmithsuniversityoflondon #liveart #performance #performanceart #finalshow #performancemaking #art #liveperformance #festival #degreeshow

Imagine a world where words dissolve, and human connection flows through the language of movement and sound. This narrative traces the evolution of emotional bonds across a lifetime, brought to life by dancers whose motions, captured through sensors, weave intricate soundscapes. Interlaced with lighting, this interplay guides audiences into a exploration of the delicate interplay between sound, emotion, and physicality. artists: @rayt3ooo @mooting_roam199

Last seen at 00:00 AM Our show explores the nature of human behaviour. We shall curate an environment for an audience to become willing test subjects in order to explore the concepts of obedience, defiance and group mentality.  Here, theatrical and psychological influences are combined, with audience participation seen from Companies such as Punch Drunk or Ontroerend Goed, meeting the Milgrim and Stanford Prison psychological experiments. Our company is a fusion of two Taiwanese performers with multi-discipline backgrounds, including drag, stage acting and multi-instrumentals, with the British-based stage writing, directing and acting expertise of the third member. artists: @may_lee86123 @alistairbeeson @man_yun_ku
