Today marks one year since @sideb.vinyl was born as a label, and it also happens to be the release day of a record I’m incredibly proud to be part of the SIDE B artist roster. I’m truly grateful to be working with a close friend and outstanding curator like @pina.sideb . I never get tired of saying how much of an inspiration he is as a friend, curator, designer, strategist, and DJ. I’ll have some gigs to share with you over the coming months. Until then, support culture and dive into this record produced by @djdextroofficial . True master of techno, from Portugal to the world. It’s a real pleasure to work for the culture with people who share the same vision of the scene. GSAID | VNL002 - Infinite Source Context: With the need for intensity in mind, this set is about tension. The release comes after the mix. You can breathe after this progressively dense and cruel “story”. I want this set to be about structure, not melody, it’s about freedom from categorisation, not the definition of a genre or a subgenre. It’s about one of the most important things SIDE B as shown me. It’s about patience. I believe every selection shouldn’t be constant and the pursuit of new, good and quality music starts everyday. The digging is everyday and you can be inspired through everything, everywhere, anytime. I believe there’s no order in it, and that’s beautiful. Just like Nature: an infinite source of inspiration.
