“The Eye that Listens” is short film about a woman who is handed the difficult task of painting the memory portrait of her late father. When she is sent old photographs of her childhood , she is struck with anxiety and the frustrating inability to recall clearly the ‘true’ image of her father. Paired with her hearing impairment, she struggles to navigate these resurfacing emotions of grief and nostalgia. But only by going through them, she is able to do him justice through her art.
This short film is an official submission to the @musicbed 30 day short film challenge. This year’s theme was: ‘More Human’ and to champion human artistry. When I was writing the ‘script’ for this, I asked myself what it meant to be human. ‘To feel’ was the only way I could describe it in words. And this is my attempt to put feeling on screen.
Thank you to everyone whom I’ve had the pleasure to talk about what human art meant to them over the bast 30 days. Believe it or not, you were part of this experience.

Alongside @factorial ‘s brand team, we set out to reinvent their “success stories.” They were looking for something more human—something that truly reflected the depth of their collaboration with clients. That’s how the In Good Company series was born.
Over the past year, I’ve had the pleasure of traveling to several of their clients’ headquarters to direct and edit pieces that feel real, grounded, and made in genuine partnership with incredible people.
