@bernierosow was legend in Mammoth, and a friend to many. He lived unapologetically, and to make the most of his days doing exactly what he loved. It was admirable and inspiring to see someone carve out their own path like he did.
I took some time back in January of this year to catch up with bernie and chat about his story and perspective on skiing and life. He answered all the questions with a kind of grace I didn't know he possessed and it lead to even more insight into the process behind his lifestyle.
This portion of that interview, is where he talks about aging and his relationship with it and how it you only have so much time to do things you love. This struck me as he said it, as something we should all not take for granted.
You did it Bernie, you gave life everything you possibly could right up till the last minute and passed away, quickly, and in one of your favorite places doing your favorite thing 💔❤️
