One year of Little Big III. Today marks exactly one year since the record came out and, fittingly, it happens to coincide with our last
@aaronparkslittlebig show of the year (at
@jassminewarsaw tonight). A kind of full-circle capstone on this chapter.
(Even more coincidentally, tomorrow makes seven years since the very first Little Big album was released, back in 2018. October 18th and 19th, release-date neighbors, circles within circles. And if you’ve seen our album covers, you already know I’ve got a thing for circles.)
I’m so grateful to everyone who’s come out to the shows this year, and to the promoters, listeners, and friends who’ve helped this music find its way into more and more rooms around the world. It’s been our busiest year yet as a band, and it’s been really special to feel this slow, steady growth, and to hear from folks about how the music is resonating with them.
Now we’re heading into a bit of a touring hiatus — about six months — before our next run in May 2026, as we get ready to record Little Big IV. Still a few more tunes I need to finish writing, but I’m feeling happy about the book of music that’s taking shape for this one.
In the meantime, I’m shifting gears toward more acoustic quartet and trio work, with the release of By All Means on the horizon. More news on that very soon.
Thanks, as always, for listening.
