I remember my first lift ride of my first day at @snowbird years ago. I couldnāt believe there was terrain like this right off a chairlift. I saw this line and remember thinking that some day I wanted to air into this chute, although at the time I could barely snowboard. This week I finally got the chance to air in. So psyched to check this one off, but now thereās another entrance into this same line that Iāve got my eye onā¦ šThanks for showing me around @greatedventure !

21 total days in Alaska, 7 days on a snowboard, 3 of which had good visibility and soft snow, 2 of which also had stable snow. AK can be so difficult for everything to line up and let us get on the kind of lines weāre there for. Iām thankful we got the 2 windows we did, but the 19 days around those windows are also special. Loooooong snowboard runs ā¤ļø. First run back in Alaska, warming up the legs and the spins. It takes me some adjusting to ride at AK speeds in AK snow after a season of moguls in the lower 48. Short story of a long day. š on for the full commentary. The day before this @nicholas.carrol_l_ and I scouted this tight couloir from the bottom and decided to get up early the next day to go for it. The top of the line was ~5k feet above the base but we could take the chairlifts up the first ~2500ft. The second ~2500ft we planned to boot. Things started going sideways when the lifts opened 2 hours late. We also werenāt allowed to hike until ski patrol opened the lifts. This resulted in us summiting much later than we wanted to. We could have pulled off our primary line but we agreed to go for it on the off chance the entrance didnāt get sun cooked. Unfortunately it got waaaay too sun cooked so we had to ride the main couloir which wasnāt in great shape but was safe. Super variable snow conditions on this with a combo of ice, wind buffed chalk, and unstable slush. All in all a great day out with @bigsamxu and @zhangjiahao501
Itās been years since Iāve spent any real time in the park. It feels so good to get back into it, I even love the sound of riding park. Who wants to stack park laps next season?

After dreaming of an Alaska trip for years, I finally made it happen. Itās been a long road of putting together the skills, crew, funds, and time to make it possible. We never got a proper weather window to step onto the big lines but that meant I got a gradual introduction to this amazing area. This year I just got a taste and Iām hungry to get back to it next year. Thanks to @fearizfun for partnering up and @gilstereric for showing us around and supporting the dream. Iāll see everyone in the parking lot spring 2026 š¤.

Too long for IG but whateverā¦ @zleonard7 didnāt get a lot of time with us this season but we did score on the last day of his trip out west. @fearizfun and I both practiced our drone skills and we were able to stack the most sled-ski laps Iāve ever done in a day. The snow quality was pretty underwhelming but we scored a beautiful day in one of our favorite zones and had it all to ourselves.
