#FernandaLavera manages to blend the everyday universe with the virtual and the mythical. The computer asks her if she is a robot, and she must reaffirm her human identity to a machine that will be obsolete, cybernetic trash in a few more years. What if Lavera was a robot with a human mask?
Distinct from her usual format which typically employs larger canvases, “I’m not a robot,” will showcase four smaller paintings presented collectively in the form of a puzzle.
