Sometimes, changing a life doesn’t start with a huge gesture.
Sometimes it starts with something as simple as choosing where we buy the next gift to a friend, or the next treat to ourselves. 💚
At our center, every piece made by our refugee seamstresses, there is so much more than fabric and thread. There is a woman rebuilding her confidence, supporting her children, creating stability for her family, and slowly shaping a different future for herself and for them.
What may feel like a small purchase to us can become the first domino in a chain reaction that reaches far beyond what we see.
And there’s another layer to this story: every product is made using rescued and upcycled textiles, helping prevent fabric waste from ending up in landfills and giving materials a second life with purpose. 🌱

A day of creativity, connection and purpose ✨
We had the pleasure of welcoming the team from Medtronic to our center in Ampang for a meaningful CSR team-building experience.
Together, we created tote bags using preloved T-shirts and decorated them with scrap textiles — transforming what once was into something new, unique, and full of story ♻️
But beyond the activity, the day was about connection. We shared the realities and challenges faced by refugee women, and how Greater Action supports them by creating opportunities to develop their talents — as cooks, pastry chefs, tailors and embroiderers.
The experience was completed with an Afghan food buffet, with a French touch for desserts, bringing everyone together around culture, flavors and shared moments.
An immersive, inclusive and creative day — filled with compassion, awareness and action 🤍
