Join us this Saturday for a workshop in image transfer from one of our FF Artists, Grayson Richter! Walk-ins are always encouraged! We’re looking forward to closing out the Fourth Annual Future Forward Exhibition with this one! Participants will learn gel medium image transferring, and will walk away with their own piece!
Materials are provided – but feel free to bring your own objects to print on (smooth, rigid surfaces, or things like high–thread count linens or canvas), images printed or to print (laser prints on normal copy paper is ideal)

More on Grayson’s work:
Grayson romanticizes past experiences and explores ways to translate those moments and locations into his work, with the goal of capturing the emotions associated with those memories. Using image transfer he captures one moment in time, translated through time and process, becoming a sort of relic.
Supported in part by @kc4culture and @warholfoundation .

Showing in Ballard tomorrow (11/8) for Trade Show curated by @_brennan_young_@the_oddsea alongside a bunch of homies !
𝓗𝓪𝓷𝓭𝓵𝓮𝓻𝓼, our final show at this location will be open from 5–10pm tonight during Pioneer Square first Thursday art walk.
It’s definitely bittersweet — we’ve really loved being part of this neighborhood and art community. Thanks to everyone who’s come through, shown work, or supported us along the way. This isn’t the end, just a hopefully brief hiatus until we secure a new space. Come hang out tonight if you can.
𝓗𝓪𝓷𝓭𝓵𝓮𝓻𝓼 will be up for the rest of the month: Thursdays 6–8 Saturdays + Sundays 1–5
More programming throughout the month TBA
Handlers is an exploration in structures of dependence through a cultural lens — how human systems take shape and, in doing so, build upon relationships of power and influence. We consider the infrastructure, objects, and vices — physical or mental — that dictate contemporary livelihood.
In Handlers, artists from across the continental U.S. respond to this theme through print, photography, oil, graphite, and sculpture — mediums that are grounded in dependence through material submission and physical commitment. Through this submission, we ask: How do the things we build, use, and depend on — culturally and materially — come to shape our lives, create reliance, and structure power?
These works consider the subtle and overt forces that shape behavior, define access, and reinforce hierarchies — whether embedded in built environments, daily rituals, digital interfaces, or internal compulsions.
