@gravitypartymgm though the years… This is a small glimpse at the roots of the team behind @passage.gathering … Live painters, drag queens, poets, guitarists, jazz vocalists, trumpet players, percussionists, comics, djs… A basement, a sanctuary, a neighborhood bar, a beach house, a rooftop, a Tulum villa, an old church, a secret bonfire spot… It feels like gravity has laid deep roots exploring the possibilities of what we could do in our little part of the world. Over 200 parties. Founded on the notion that inclusive dance floors can change the world, Gravity has been throwing parties since 2017 in a place where many questioned why. We asked ourselves the same question plenty of times, but the answer has remained simple… because the world needs this. Montgomery needs this. The crew behind the parties @allan.emerson @djozentertainment @entropyraymusic @shelby_pewpew @amyltyler @alwayschasingmusic is a collective of pure hearts and strong backs. Never backing down from a challenge and remaining true to underground roots. Our scene is not big, we don’t have lucrative door takes, and we’ve gotten by with pure grit and passion. But thats fine by us, because the joy and fulfillment we’ve received is worth 10x. I don’t know how many more parties we’ll throw like the old days, but believe me, our hearts are still in it. His sincere and humble nature have made him more than a good booking, but a friend to many. 📣 Artist Spotlight This is the definition of trust and experimentation in a b2b duo. @thescotthouston and @alwayschasingmusic have been pushing the boundaries of what’s expected in these contexts since 2021, both in their respective production projects and as a DJ duo. The @passage.gathering Ritual Stage has been a place of experimentation, where the volume comes down, the effigy->bonfire is lit, and the night unfolds into a kaleidoscope of sounds and genres. Chasing and Scott have closed this stage with a marathon set each of the last four years of Passage, a tradition of ending the weekend with an exercise in freedom of thought and expression… we’ll do the same on November 15th, 3-5am. As co-founders of Bespoke House @bespoke.house.portal , they have helped curate a Burn sound camp that has become more than that: A temple to the higher self, integrating multi-disciplinary performance, hi fidelity sound, spiritual intention, and beautiful experience design… Bespoke House continues its metamorphosis into one of the most unique productions going in our corner of the world right now. If you’re into experimental late night sounds and infectious (truly) minimal dance music, you’ll want to stay late for this one…
