Just dropped the first single of a new collaboration with @polyrhythmics and @adryondeleon This is the bands first dive into a full on collaboration with a vocalist and Iâm pretty stoked about what we have to share with yall. Aside from being an amazingly talented singer and performer, Adryon is also a pretty awesome human as well. Which helps đ Stay tuned for more music drops in the coming months and catch us performing these new tunes at clubs and festival stages this summer!
Champagne Bubblebath is the brainchild of Polyrhythmicsâ drummer Grant Schroff. Itâs got the feel of old school beat tapes mixed with some groovy minimalistic funk. I mean, what else can you ask for when youâre blending instrumental hip-hop and R&B, am I right?
Take their track âJuiceâ for instanceâitâs so fine. Itâs got a constant reoccurring drum beat and bass line that gets my head boppinâ, while the dueling guitars each fill the speakers with a pulse that is quite different. One guitar has this middle eastern flair to it while the other seems to be creating a rhythm with a wah wah pedal effect.
This west-coast powerhouse is comprised of Schroffâs Polyrhythmics bandmates Ben Bloom (guitar), Jason Gray (bass), and one of our favorite musicians, Jimmy James (Parlor Greens/True Loves).
Their first album Mixtape: Volume One just dropped on coke bottle clear vinyl. Give it a listen.
