Her sound is sultry and inviting, with lush vocals and velvety horn lines that flow together seamlessly. There is something grounded yet weightless about her presence as she radiates joy from the stage. Pulling inspiration from neo-soul and jazz, her music is centered around groove and storytelling. There is a certainty and openness about her that brings a room full of strangers together to explore the depths of our human experience through song. Genre: indie neo-soul Influences: Amy Winehouse, D’Angelo, Roy Hargrove, Moonchild, Fleetwood Mac 🎺About the EP Carrie’s new EP “Slow Burn” (out on June 12th, 2026) is a sensual invitation to take your time and savor the moment. Recorded at idyllic getaways in the Pacific Northwest, these songs shimmer like the summer sun on Orcas Island and glow like the evergreen forests of the Snoqualmie River Valley. They also reflect Carrie and Thomas’s ever-deepening creative relationship, marking the beginning of their work as a producer/engineer duo. The first track “Muse” is about the intimacy of making art. It explores the heightened sense of connection one feels when serving as someone’s inspiration. “Steady Love” is about the groundedness and enjoyment that can come from long-term partnership. The song itself takes its time to prove there is no rush to get to the end of a love story. “Straight Line” is a reminder that life happens in circles and cycles, that the path is not always clear, and that we can always choose to return to the present moment with gratitude and something of ourselves to offer. Lastly, “Yellow Kisses” celebrates the delights of summer love in the Pacific Northwest.

As a full live group, Vinyl Williams has directly supported Unknown Mortal Orchestra, Toro Y Moi, Mount Kimbie, Temples, This Will Destroy You & many others. Williams has also created music videos for UMO (Multi-Love), Tears For Fears, Medicine, Morgan Delt — some of which are 360 interactive videos, or completely immersive explorable environments.
