A little bit about G-Whiz:
G-Whiz went to University of Maryland, where he studied and received his BA in History. The critical reasoning and analytical skills that are necessary in his History background - has been synonymous with his Music Production talents as well. A sound that is technical; well thought out with attention to every detail. A true student of the game, who pulls influence from a plethora of genres; G-Whiz has clearly done his research of music history as well.
While showcasing his talents and winning various beat battles such as iStandard at Webster Hall (NYC), and also running his very own brainchild of a music showcase called Musicology 101 in his hometown - it helped achieve new opportunities. His consistent groundwork led to his production being featured on daytime syndicated talk-show ‘The Wendy Williams Show’ - which boasts 1.8 Million viewers. Staying at work; G-Whiz has produced for various artists such as; Billy Danze (M.O.P), OC, Cory Gunz, Roc Nation and DITC.
Whiz also maintains his position as event coordinator and owner of the MUSICOLOGY 101 PRODUCERS SHOWCASE as well as being a community partner with Trinity College for the INTERNATIONAL HIP HOP FESTIVAL. G-Whiz also holds a seat on the board for IN YA HEAD youth music and education program and is also affiliated with SONY Music as a published music producer and composer. G-Whiz is repeatedly showing that his sound is here to dominate and innovate - you may want to keep your eyes on this wave.
