Built through a series of daily Substack posts for over nine months straight with no days off (literally - weekends too).
It was an exercise in discipline, curation, taste, research, digital digging, formatting, storytelling, and community-building—among other things.
I rediscovered my own music-writing voice, and inspired others to join in too with the formation of the weekly PICKS POSSE series where subscribers could submit a song they love and write about it every Sunday.
And ultimately, I created an archive of multi-genre song-focused content that will live on for continued discovery and engagement.
I’m thankful for this experience and the subscribers who shared it with me. As an artist myself, IP’S PICKS allowed me to be a fan again. And now, as I venture into future projects, I will take that renewed sense of fandom and curiosity along with me. 🙏
