Swinging into Monday like…
Transparency time! I’ve been struggling the past few weeks with my anxiety, overall wellness, and just feeling overwhelmed. I’ll be the first to admit I put a lot of pressure on myself to not let others down but also not let myself down which in return makes me anxious and drains me. Us women put so much pressure on ourselves on top of the society’s pressure that we’re never just good enough.

So yesterday morning, the first beautiful dopamine filled day I was inspired/forced by my husband lol to not work inside or run errands but instead take advantage of the beautiful day. I reluctantly took his advice and the only child in me decided to go on an a Farahventure! I wanted to feel inspired, go somewhere I haven’t explored and in Farah manner I had to make it somewhat productive and work on my shooting skills with some of my new gadgets! That lead me to go see my talented friend’s @culturesclothing new mural at @graffitipier ! This was followed by making @matteo_vogel ride bikes to the pier to see the mural and then throughout the city where I had no choice to unplug for a bit.

Although a little part of me was freaking out that I didn’t do any work or run my errands it was certainly good for the soul. So my Monday unsolicited advice to you is to remind yourself to take a second and just enjoy the fruits of your labor even if it’s just for one morning 💛💜💗💙💚
