You reminded me what it means to be human and to live life to the fullest. My desire for community and meaningful connections has always fell short in London - a place not too far from home but is very different. I haven’t quite felt rich in those areas for a long time, not until I went to Bali.
Within just the first couple of days, I made the sweetest and most genuine connections with people, some of which I ended up spending so much time with on my trip. New connections were made on a daily basis which just affirmed how electric the social culture is. I wouldn’t trade this experience for anything else.
As incredible it was to feel the sun on my skin day to day, walk along the beautiful beaches and grab my daily fresh coconut water…It was the people that made me fall in love with Indonesia. Both the locals and expats🥹🤎 What was supposed to be 2 weeks, turned into 5 lol…that’s so me coded. So until next time.
PSA: This is also a message to self to hold myself accountable to leave this goddamn country in the next 365 days👆🏽
