Something a bit different in the workshop recently, a lovely MG Midget with a K-series engine swap. We had it to fit a set of fast road cams, a larger throttle body and an Emerald K6 ECU. It was a pleasure to work on and a proper little rocket when it was finished.
Engine back in.
Manifold fitted, 4-paddle clutch from Steve Elliot installed and the gearbox refreshed and bolted up.
Mocked up the ITBs from @gradientengineering and clearance is looking good.
Next job is stripping the wiring back properly before the ECU from @k__maps goes in.

Finally, the first fire-up of the New Zetec Engine in the Fiesta. All went better than expected and it sounds sweet on our throttle bodies. Just a few small niggles to sort out, like a failed alternator, then onto a bit of tuning over the winter, ready for the start of the season. Some might say we are well ahead for next year, but we say we're well behind for last year!
