Ivans lovely Mini in for remap this morning, 1380cc/flowed head/Kent cam.. the focus today was sorting the overich rough idle/low speed running, improving response and adding overrun crackle too...
Next step will be on the Dyno for full load checks, expecting around 80bhp as in the last Dyno 1380 run on a factory injector spec..#minimpi
Excellent morning on the Kmaps Dyno again showing K series capabilities - 143bhp from a 1.4!
Adams very nice rally ZR has fast road cams/flowed head/vvc manifold and injectors.
The power delivery is astonishing still climbing hard at the limiter. Nice stable torque delivery too from 3000...
We decided to keep to 7500rpm for durability, running higher could easily have seen 150+ bhp..
The session proves just how well the factory inlet manifold breathes, and also the effectiveness of a Kmaps file tune - these figures were seen straight away on a previously installed map from similar Kmaps experience. Only the rev limiter and minor midrange tweaks were needed! #mgzr

Firstly a nice TF160 in for the latest dual map Kmaps set up - with George the owner sampling the switchable Sport mode including crackle... Good to see a couple of young guys properly enjoying the spirit of MG...
Earlier in the week, something different on the Dyno with an Mpi Mini (remember we can now remap most Longbridge ECUs back to mid 90s..) Work is ongoing on a very tidy car!! #mgtf #minimpi
Not placed many posts lately as been busy with further Kmaps developments - the range of cars able to sample Kmaps tuning gains is now considerably enhanced!
We are now finally able to announce tuning support for pre 2000 mems 2J and mems 19 units in addition to mems 3...
This means assistance for early MGF/Rover 200 of course but additionally means other models, heres a few highlights..

Couple of notable motors in today, both in for diagnostic help as well as upgrade tweaks...
The ZR rally car is a 1.4, still a popular choice - this one recently overhauled with big valve head/race cams/verniers/high flow injectors...
Running pretty rough on arrival (wouldn't even idle) we soon got things into order for some road running in ahead of the dyno session..We've seen over 160bhp from a similar 1.4 spec in the past so fingers crossed..
The MGF is a classy Abingdon spec...rough running on arrival, soon resolved with attention to the vvc wiring connections...
Remember Kmaps are now also able to upgrade earlier mems 2 ecus now! #mgf #mgzr
Visit to the Kmaps dyno today, Rolf from Holland in his rather special TF fitted with a low pressure Rotrex supercharger. Despite only boosting to half a bar 207bhp is a handy result - and a nice linear power delivery too..
The test drive was certainly fun! #mgtf
Another hard day at the office tweaking Dale's very tidy vvc Elise..
Spent time at his base refining the new dual map set up..
Mode 1 refined for town, Mode 2 at the full 170bhp race settings with more connected response/exhaust crackle/raised limiter..
Such a pure driving experience in these fine motorcars..#elise

Lovely solar red 160 in today for the latest dual mode Kmaps system...as requested a softer town mode default set up, with the race remap spec on offer by pressing the newly wired sport button...only 60000 miles, mint condition with RPS bonnet and lots of Mike Satur options...#mgtf
Bit of a trek from the Nederlands for Thomas, visiting Kmaps for the race 160 upgrade.. Hes owned the car since he was 18, and has beautifully rebuilt the engine.
Bodywork is in great order and original/no rust at 110000 miles!. It was originally sold in Italy so guess that helps..#mgzr
