Come experience Grace Weber’s intimate acoustic set live in the living room of one of the most historic lakefront mansions in Milwaukee. The day after @FineFolkNYC , I hosted another private salon for our special guest artist @GraceWeber through @sugary.nyc in conjunction w/ @fanfly.live at the wonderful home of my friend @skodie05 .
In front of a full house Grace delivered an intimate and deeply resonant performance as only artists of her level and unique instinct can deliver.
For me it was yet another full circle moment having represented Grace for years back in the day.
Watching her career blossom has been a distinct pleasure.
Since my time representing her, she’s become a Grammy winning artist, a featured artist on @colorsxstudios , a mother of a lovely daughter with another baby on the way (this performance would be her final one before she delivers her second), and relocated twice…
Man life happens so fast.
Though it was certainly an exhausting endeavor to do two back to back full scale salons in a row, this was such an amazing moment for us two to collaborate on some brilliance once more.
I really couldn’t say no to the opportunity honestly.
And I’m so glad I did.
For through the exhaustion I also found exhilaration.
A deeply satisfying sensation harkening to times past but also reflective of my very active present and echoing into the future.
Everything builds on top of itself it seems.
If there’s anything this experience reaffirms, it’s that…
…I LOVE Arts (particularly music)
…I LOVE People
And anything that I’m ever involved with that involves the alchemy of these two elements at play will always yield something magical.
Abracadabra y’all 🪄…
The only thing we really have is this moment.
And most of us are giving it away.
We made TIME to take it back. To slow down, in a world that only seems to speed up.
